Town to City Review I wonder what it would be like to live in a little Mediterranean seaside town, where the shops are all quaint, the people are happy and the nights are filled with soft, romantic light. I’ll never know. But I can pretend, thanks to Town to City. It’s a chill city builder, just out of early access. Everything I said about Town to City in September 2025 still applies now that the final game has been released. This is really more of an update and recap.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Preview As someone who previews a lot of games, I’m used to them being rough-around-the-edges, incomplete, or not ready for release. What a pleasure, then, to preview a game that’s not only related to a favorite franchise, but exceptionally polished and confident. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a prequel and spinoff of sorts. The new game leaves behind the stealth adventure of A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019) and its sequel.

Embers of the Uncrowned Preview If you’re a fan of dark fantasy action games with flashy combat, eye-melting spell effects and a few new ideas to blend into the genre, Embers of the Uncrowned might be worth a look. A demo dropped on June 13, but I had the chance to try it out a couple of weeks prior. Tagged as an MMOARPG, Embers of the Uncrowned definitely occupies the same space as Lost Ark, Diablo IV or Path of Exile 2, to name some familiar examples.
