Marko Zivkovic’s Biography

In my work for MacRumors and AppleInsider, I broke the news on a variety of highly confidential Apple projects. Through an established network of industry insider sources and independent research, I published detailed information on key hardware components, software, and product designs.

Here are just some of the things I’ve revealed and published ahead of their official launch:

  • Prototype designs and colors for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max
  • Detailed hardware information on the Camera Control button and related capacitive/haptic button projects (Bongo, Atlas), published independently sourced images of a prototype iPhone with canceled haptic buttons
  • The exact weights and dimensions of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and later their iPhone 16 counterparts
  • The exact titanium alloy of the iPhone 15 Pro chassis
  • Design and material composition of the FineWoven Apple Watch bands
  • Key hardware and design details for the iPhone 16e
  • Key design design information concerning the original Apple Vision Pro headset
  • New software features, design changes, and system applications in iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, such as the revamped GreyParrot calculator with Math Notes.
  • All major Apple Intelligence features, including Writing Tools, Image Playground, the Clean Up tool in Photos, email categorization, text summarization, and more. I also wrote about Apple's AI test apps and paraphrased the company's AI prompts.
  • Changes in Apple's marketing and branding strategies (rebrand of Apple ID to Apple Account)

As a result of my work, I possess detailed knowledge of Apple’s confidential development processes, prototypes, development and test devices, product designs, internal-use operating systems, applications, environments, and their variants.

While working for AppleInsider, I’ve also covered daily news, including official announcements from Apple and third parties. I’ve also written guides and reviews of different products and services.
