Mejora de la resolución de problemas matemáticos mediante tutoría entre iguales: el papel de las estrategias discursivas en educación obligatoria
English Mathematical problem-solving is a core component of compulsory education, yet students often struggle to develop effective strategies. Peer tutoring has been identified as a promising instructional approach, although the mechanisms underlying its effectiveness remain underexplored.

Climate and human impacts on key marine fauna of the Mediterranean Sea during the pre-industrial period
Abstract Climate changes and human activities have impacted the Mediterranean ecosystem for thousands of years, but the available quantitative evidence is incomplete, hindering a detailed assessment of the marine ecosystem's baseline state and resources.

Future trends of marine fish biomass distributions from the North Sea to the Barents Sea - Nature Communications
Abstract Climate warming is one of the facets of anthropogenic global change predicted to increase in the future, its magnitude depending on present-day decisions. The north Atlantic and Arctic Oceans are already undergoing community changes, with warmer-water species expanding northwards, and colder-water species retracting. However, the future extent and implications of these shifts remain unclear.

Cross-basin and cross-taxa patterns of marine community tropicalization and deborealization in warming European seas - Nature Communications
|
Abstract Ocean warming and acidification, decreases in dissolved oxygen concentrations, and changes in primary production are causing an unprecedented global redistribution of marine life. The identification of underlying ecological processes underpinning marine species turnover, particularly the prevalence of increases of warm-water species or declines of cold-water species, has been recently debated in the context of ocean warming.

Ecology & Society: Can a “doughnut” economic framework be useful to monitor the blue economy success? A fisheries example
Research ABSTRACT In this paper, we employ a “doughnut” economic approach to comprehensively assess the state of the purse-seiners fisheries sector in the northwestern Mediterranean Sea. The analysis identifies several instances of ecological overshooting and shortages in basic social needs, indicating that the current situation is, in many respects, far from being in a secure, ecologically safe, and socially just space.
Ecology & Society: Distributional range shift of a marine fish relates to a geographical gradient of emotions among recreational fishers
Research ABSTRACT As the effects of climate change increase, distributional range shifts of species are also expected to be magnified, necessitating a better understanding of their social-ecological implications for the adaptive management of fisheries and biodiversity conservation. In this paper, we focused on the human dimensions of recreational fisheries in the context of an ongoing distributional range shift of a target species.

Neuropsychological functioning of homeless people in Paris: An exploratory study
Abstract Homelessness is a multifactorial issue, influenced by structural and individual factors. These factors include health status, which has been reported to be poorer among people experiencing homelessness. Although the somatic and mental health of homeless individuals has already been studied in France, to our knowledge, no research has been conducted on neuropsychological functioning in this country.
Identifying and prioritizing demersal fisheries restricted areas based on combined ecological and fisheries criteria: the western Mediterranean
New Results doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.02.02.526784 Abstract The western Mediterranean basin is a high marine biodiversity area under severe pressure by changing climate and intense human activities. Beyond national jurisdictions, international institutions such as the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) work towards canalizing a regional consensus that fishing practices should evolve to better support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Potential impacts of climate change on agriculture and fisheries production in 72 tropical coastal communities - Nature Communications
|
Abstract Climate change is expected to profoundly affect key food production sectors, including fisheries and agriculture. However, the potential impacts of climate change on these sectors are rarely considered jointly, especially below national scales, which can mask substantial variability in how communities will be affected.

Fisheries-induced changes of shoaling behaviour: mechanisms and potential consequences
We outline key mechanisms by which fishing can change the shoaling tendency and collective behaviour of exploited species – an issue that is rarely considered and poorly understood. We highlight potential consequences for fish populations and food webs, and discuss possible repercussions for fisheries and conservation strategies.

Food web models reveal potential ecosystem effects of seagrass recovery in the northern Wadden Sea
Abstract In contrast to the global trend, seagrass beds have recovered in size and density in the northern part of the European Wadden Sea, but ecosystem effects of seagrass recovery and the impacts to ecosystem services are largely unknown. We used temporal‐dynamic food web modeling Ecopath with Ecosim to assess potential ecosystem effects of seagrass recovery in the semi‐enclosed Sylt‐Rømø Bight at the German‐Danish border.
Management Scenarios Under Climate Change - A Study of the Nordic and Barents Seas
Introduction Facing climate change and a growing human population, the world’s ocean resources will be put under even higher pressures in the future than they already are. The increased demand for food from the oceans for human consumption has already led to declining stocks in several marine ecosystems (e.g., FAO, 2018a), and cumulative impacts of climate and increased fishing pressure may cause further declines (Halpern et al., 2015; Armstrong et al., 2019).

Strong fisheries management and governance positively impact ecosystem status
Fisheries have had major negative impacts on marine ecosystems, and effective fisheries management and governance are needed to achieve sustainable fisheries, biodiversity conservation goals and thus good ecosystem status. To date, the IndiSeas programme (Indicators for the Seas) has focussed on assessing the ecological impacts of fishing at the ecosystem scale using ecological indicators.
