The main aim of this study was to compare the glucose increasing effect after subcutaneous and intraperitoneal delivery of glucagon, and to investigate the potential for intraperitoneal delivery of small doses of glucagon in an AP. Intravenous delivery of hormones is less realistic in free-living conditions.
