Donald Trump says the US has received a "workable" 10-point plan from Iran after the two countries agreed to a two-week ceasefire, labelling it a "complete victory" for his nation. The US president exclusively told Sky News' US correspondent Mark Stone that many of the points were "very good" and that most had already been fully negotiated. But Stone and US correspondent Martha Kelner have said a version of the plans shared by Iranian media would prove a "massive strategic defeat" for the US.
'Trump is doing a favour for humanity': Hopes and fears of LA's Iranian community
Luxury Persian rugs are stacked in piles in the Los Angeles shop which Eric Saddigh has owned for decades. He shakes out a small handwoven rug with a peacock design. "This one is $25,000," he says. A lot of his customers are Beverly Hills millionaires. The opulence seems far removed from the horrors of war, but for Eric, who left Iran aged 15, his homeland is never far from mind.
This was addiction by design... I call it murder: Parents' anger as Zuckerberg faces court
Grieving parents awaited Mark Zuckerberg's arrival at a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles for what is being called the social media industry's "big tobacco moment". "I'm comforted by the fact he's here alone, with only his lawyers and a jury. He's without his lobbyists or his PR machine," says Lori Schott, whose 18-year-old daughter Annalee had a social media addiction and died by suicide in 2020.

"I'm comforted by the fact he's here alone, with only his lawyers and a jury. He's without his lobbyists or his PR machine," says Lori Schott, whose 18-year-old daughter Annalee had a social media addiction and died by suicide in 2020. "If we would have been here in this court 10 years earlier she would have still been alive," she adds.
A neighbourhood left stunned by a crime that's mystifying America
The Catalina Foothills, a desert community just north of Tucson, Arizona, isn't the sort of place where these things happen. But it's now the focus of a crime that's mystifying America. A long line of TV reporters from all over the world are positioned outside Nancy Guthrie's home, an expansive red brick bungalow set back from the road on a large plot, bordered by cacti and yucca shrubs. Private security stand guard on the driveway.
Nancy Guthrie: A neighbourhood left stunned by a crime that's mystifying America
A long line of TV reporters from all over the world are positioned outside Nancy Guthrie's home, an expansive red brick bungalow set back from the road on a large plot, bordered by cacti and yucca shrubs. Private security stand guard on the driveway. It's from this house that detectives believe 84-year-old Nancy was snatched in the dead of night. She is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, one of the country's best known TV hosts, and the pair have often appeared on screen together.
'The normal rules of engagement have been thrown out - Alex Pretti was on his knees when first shot was fired'
A place where people usually come to enjoy themselves is now a focus for a community's grief and anger. It's cordoned off to traffic, and a steady stream of people arrive to place candles and flowers, digesting what happened here. I've now seen four angles of this shooting - four different videos which show the fatal shots, the moments before and the moments after. They offer a window into how this horror unfolded, second by second.
Trump's ICE agents are all over Minneapolis - but this is a community ready to resist
Word has spread that ICE immigration officers are on the move in this part of the city and a community of activists has sprung into action. They make as much noise as they can to alert local people, who might be targets, to the presence of federal law enforcement. President Donald Trump has sent 3,000 ICE agents to the Minneapolis area as part of his migrant crackdown. They dwarf the local police force by five to one.
'She was trying to flee': Minneapolis on edge as ICE's techniques provoke anger
The snowy street where Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by an immigration officer has now become a memorial to her. The telegraph pole that her car crashed into is surrounded by flowers, candles, teddy bears, and placards bearing her name. The smell of burning sage, said to banish negative energy, is thick in the air. Throughout the day, people of all ages and ethnicities have come to pay their respects - some crying, some hugging, and many chanting her name.
What it was like inside Nicolas Maduro's 'dramatic' court hearing
It was exactly midday on the 26th floor of the federal court in New York, with the large windows offering sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson river beyond. Around 50 journalists, a few dozen members of the public and a handful of police officers from the Drug Enforcement Agency, the body responsible for building the case against him, waited in anticipation in the public gallery.
Sky News correspondents look back at 2025
It has been a turbulent year. Wars have erupted or dragged on, international crises have deepened - but there have been bright spots too. Our Sky News correspondents have been on the ground all through 2025, bringing you the full story first. Here's what they have seen - and why it's important to them. Adam Parsons, Middle East correspondent, on his time in Gaza I will always remember the first time I went into Gaza.
A year after deadly LA fires, two Trump policies have come at worst time
The lighting of the village Christmas tree is a yearly tradition for the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. The community comes together, drinking hot chocolate and mulled wine while local children sing hymns on stage. A countdown to Santa Claus lighting the tree is accompanied by artificial snow cannons blanketing the street. But this year, the tree lighting is another milestone for a community bonded together by trauma.
