What does it mean to be a journalist?

For me the word should come attached to 'investigative'. But in my experience, journalists are passive transmitters of other people's views

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The Times Higher lead story on Global Warming and the 'doubts' being suppressed prior to Copenhagen. I was put under pressure to change it

Any time, but I may be slow to respond!
