American in Paris, formerly a Swede in New York. I write for Dagens Nyheter, The Guardian and Washington Post. I worked as a U.S. Correspondent for two decades and covered four presidential elections, which is just enough for a lifetime.

I have published eight books in Swedish and two in English, and commented on US politics, culture and technologu for BBC, CNN, NPR and many others.
Author of ten books.

Augustpriset

2012 - Non-fiction books

The book "Den amerikanska högern" ("The American Conservatives") was nominated for the Swedish national book award, Augustpriset, in 2012, for best book in the non-fiction category.

Johan Hansson Prize

2009 - Non-fiction books

Won the Johan Hansson Prize, the annual Swedish award for non-fiction, for the book "Det amerikanska löftet – Barack Obamas väg till Vita Huset" ("The American Promise: Barack Obama's road to The White House"). The prize is award to books that "support and encourage public debate, counter totalitarian ideas and to promote political and economic freedom."
