I have published eight books in Swedish and two in English, and commented on US politics, culture and technologu for BBC, CNN, NPR and many others.

One of the most credible global sources on the health of democratic nations now says this outright. The Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institute at Gothenburg University reaches the alarming conclusion in its annual report, that the US is hurtling towards autocracy at a faster rate than Hungary and Turkey.

Won the Johan Hansson Prize, the annual Swedish award for non-fiction, for the book "Det amerikanska löftet – Barack Obamas väg till Vita Huset" ("The American Promise: Barack Obama's road to The White House"). The prize is award to books that "support and encourage public debate, counter totalitarian ideas and to promote political and economic freedom."
