1. Introduction Essential tremor (ET) is a chronic and progressive neurological disorder of undetermined pathophysiology, perhaps due to differing criteria of the syndrome [1–3]. It is one of the most common tremulous neurological disorders worldwide, with an estimated prevalence of 0.5%–5.79% [4]. Mainly, ET is characterized by the presence of kinetic tremor, and in more advanced cases, also at rest.
