Marty Hobe’s Biography
After graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University, I went on to the University of Illinois at Springfield to complete the Public Affairs Reporting Master's program, interning at the Daily Herald. I currently work as the Government reporter at The Register-Mail in Galesburg, Illinois, covering federal, state and local politics, while also running the 'Politics as Usual' blog on the paper's website.
Politics is my passion, but in my free time much of my attention is given to the Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox, as well as playing golf.
