Amy Klobuchar running in the Democratic race and former MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in the Republican primary. Walz announced he would not run for reelection in January after mounting scrutiny over allegations of social aid fraud at day care centers in the state. Klobuchar, a Minnesota senator since 2007, takes on Kobey Layne and Bill Gates Jr. (not related to Microsoft’s co-founder).
