Jamaican discus thrower Rojé Stona learned this the hard way. When he approached the discus circle before his fourth attempt during the men’s final at the Paris Olympics, he didn’t expect that three centimeters (roughly 1.2 inches) would cause a pleasant dilemma for his next career move.
