If you are an Athens local, you may recognize the name “Cecilia’s.” Perhaps you have gone to eat at Last Resort Grill and passed the glass dessert case with shelves filled with tiered cakes, or maybe you have stumbled across the floral-painted brick bakery while walking down Milledge Avenue. Cecilia’s Cake Shop is located on North Milledge Avenue, and was founded by Cecilia Villaveces nearly 35 years ago after moving to Athens from Colombia with her family.

Rodd Firm hosts third annual “Pack a Sack” Party - Thomasville Times Enterprise

On Monday, Nov. 25, Thomasville’s Rodd Firm hosted their third annual “Pack a Sack” Party ahead of the holiday. The food packing event took place at Hubs and Hops and welcomed nearly one hundred volunteers.
