Why did you become a journalist?

I wanted to make a difference. I stayed because I love people, and journalism has made a difference in my life.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Writing my award-winning series of stories on the release of Thomas Kokoraleis, a member of the Ripper Crew serial killer gang, from prison.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Read as much as you possibly can. There is always more to learn about the world and about writing.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Try to pitch me by 8am weekdays so I can make your pitch part of my day if it's a good one!

What's your favorite drink?

Water is underrated.
