BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Want to spend a few days in the 1980s? Well, Bloomington-based production Pigasus Pictures is giving Hoosiers the chance. No time machine required. Deadline broke the news on Monday, announcing that Pigasus Pictures, in partnership with Anne Hathaway’s production company Somewhere Pictures, is set to shoot a feature film in Bloomington this summer. Set in the 1980s, “Little Five” is set against the backdrop of Indiana University’s iconic Little 500 bicycle race.

19-month-old dies after being found in retention pond

LAWRENCE, Ind. — The search for a missing child ended in tragedy after a 19-month-old died after being recovered from a retention pond. A police run shows that the Lawrence Police Department was called out to the 7000 block of McIntosh Lane shortly before noon on Monday on report of a missing child. Police quickly launched into a search for the missing 19-month-old. Officers found the child in a retention pond behind the apartment complex.

Scott Dixon, Felix Rosenqvist to join Arrow McLaren

INDIANAPOLIS — Arrow McLaren’s IndyCar team is adding two former Indianapolis 500 winners. On Monday, Arrow McLaren announced that reigning Indy 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist and six-time NTT IndyCar Series Champion Scott Dixon will be joining the Indianapolis-based race team. Dixon and Rosenqvist will round out the 2027 driver lineup alongside current Arrow McLaren driver Pato O’Ward. But Dixon and Rosenqvist aren’t the only former Indianapolis 500 winners who will suit up for Arrow McLaren in 2027.
