As the sun rises on a chilly Wollongong morning, a group of about 20 people gather for the Waves of Wellness (WOW) program, each with their own unique story to tell. Soon the darkness of the night fades, and the only sounds are crashing waves and quiet chatter from the group sitting on the cool sand. They start by forming a circle and sharing what's on their mind, without judgement. Paramedic Andrew Aitcheson is one of the participants.
