Yes! I learned how to type with a typewriter. Thankfully, electric typewriters replaced manuals by then.

It helps break news faster than ever before. Sadly, fact checking is suffering tremendously.

By email. Address me by my name and put something interesting in the title to get my attention.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
PaperRater, Grammarly, Hemmingway App and Copyscape.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram. For the simplicity of sharing a photo, telling a story and adding the appropriate hashtags.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No. My interest in all things journalism came about after college, while working for a non-profit organization.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Absolutely know that journalism is for you, jump in and don't look back.
