Waldron, who finished Sydney in 2024, was the first. Arvin Cubacub, also in Sydney, accomplished it in 2025. In August, also in Sydney, Cameron O’Neal will go for his seventh star.

Mylene Garcia hadn’t planned on running the 2026 Galaxy Manila Marathon, she had already qualified for the TCS Sydney Marathon in Australia and decided to rest her body and prepare for Sydney - one of the world’s signature marathons. Not only had she qualified for Sydney, but she had already run four marathons since February 2026 - a remarkable accomplishment for the elite marathon runner who competes in the female 55-59 age division.
