SHIAWASSEE COUNTY — Shiawassee County has received approximately $1.2 million in federal grant funding and will use it to improve the safety of homes. Through the Shiawassee County Land Bank Authority (SCLBA), some households in the county will be eligible for up to $25,000 in grant funding for rehabilitation projects. The funding is distributed to the county by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).
