What was your first job as a journalist?

I initially worked for my school television station at college.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To provide insightful criticism while potentially influencing a reader's opinion.

Why did you become a journalist?

To share my lifelong love of cinema.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

When just starting out, even if you get offered volunteer work, take it. Build your portfolio so that bigger opportunities will follow.
