Matthew H. Ward is a historian and freelance journalist who is the author of numerous published articles in print and online media sources. He is a native of Matawan, New Jersey, who currently lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife Sarah and two daughters. He holds a B.A. in History and Culture from Arizona State University, an M.A. in History from Rutgers University-Camden, and an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania.
