Fooda made its first appearance at Long Beach State on Tuesday, September 17 collaborating with El Fénix, a Mexican-style restaurant. Photo credit: James Gretch Fooda, a catering service that offers a rotating selection of local restaurants, is being introduced to Long Beach State students this fall in an effort to bring more food options to a crowded campus.

As far as he could remember, Devon James has been doing public service in order to become an official police officer. Now, he helps the community in Long Beach State’s University Police Department. The 31-year-old recruit, born and raised in Long Beach, hopes to be a driving force for the campus community. With all the experience he’s gathered in policing and keeping the peace, James feels right at home protecting CSULB and its students.

Members of the Associated Students Inc. passed the motion to approve their annual budget for the 2023-24 fiscal year at the University Student Union for students’ basic necessities on Wednesday. The Consolidated Operating Budget is ASI’s annual budget composed of revenues and expenses used to fund the USU and all the events held on campus.
