U.S. eventing fans were thrilled upon the conclusion of the second day of dressage as U.S. Individual Rider Tamie Smith and Molly Duda's 10-year-old Holsteiner mare Lillet 3 (Livello x Princess L) rode their way to a sub-30 score to sit in 8th placing going into cross-country tomorrow in the FEI Eventing World Championship. Smith has been in England since the end of May and came over to Germany a few weeks ago to begin her final preparations.

Two U.S. riders executed their dressage tests on the first day of competition at the FEI Eventing World Championship in Aachen, Germany, to land inside the top-15. Caroline Pamukcu and her long-time partner HSH Blake, an 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Tolan R x Doughiska Lass), owned by Pamukcu and her husband Deniz, Mollie Hoff, and Sherrie Martin, earned a score of 32.3 to sit in 14th place.

Since 1999, more than 50 horses and people have been inducted into the United States Eventing Association (USEA) Eventing Hall of Fame. Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor awarded within the sport of eventing in the United States. Those invited to join the Hall of Fame have truly made a difference in the sport of eventing.
