BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Good morning! THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We are starting off warm and muggy across the state this morning, with temperatures in the 70s. The heat will quickly take over this afternoon with highs in the low to mid 90s. Heat index values will be 100+ degrees. A mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky is expected with a light easterly breeze. If you are looking for rain to cool you off, at best, a pop-up shower or storm is possible during the peak heating of the day.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We are starting off mild and muggy across central Alabama this morning, with areas of patchy fog, especially through west Alabama. Once the sun comes up, we will quickly warm into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Heat index values will be in the upper 90s. Most of us will see a good mix of sun and clouds, but a pop-up shower as the stationary boundary waffles back and forth today cannot be ruled out.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We are starting warm and muggy across central Alabama this morning, with temperatures generally in the lower 70s and upper 60s along Highway 278. We are also seeing patchy fog in spots where we picked up heavier rain yesterday. The chance for rain today remains isolated, and the sky will be mostly cloudy. Highs will be seasonal, generally in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
