I remember participating in a musical theater intensive in middle school under the direction of Ms. Shirley Torch. The touring group was called Young Americans, and we spent the week building a musical theater showcase for our families.

Materials designer Aradhita Parasrampuria founded Cellsense in 2022 to scale sustainable bioembellishments for the fashion and beauty industries. A $1 million winner of the 2025 43North Startup Competition, the company is expanding pilot production and its supply chain in Western New York. A decade in New York designing embellishments for everyone from luxury houses to fast fashion retailers showed Cellsense founder Aradhita Parasrampuria something most consumers never see.
