Baltimore officials announced an expansion of the city’s Group Violence Reduction Strategy (GVRS) into the Baltimore Police Department’s Northern District, marking the sixth police district where the program is active as the city moves toward a broader rollout. “GVRS is helping to drive historic reductions in homicides and nonfatal shootings across Baltimore,” Mayor Brandon M. Scott said.
