XBOX gets exclusive 25th anniversary blueprint for Modern Warfare 4 pre-orders
This is an interesting item. Pre-order bonuses, even platform specific ones, aren't anything new. But a skin you can only see on the platform it's available on? That's new. XBOX is dropping a translucent green 25th anniversary M4 to pre-ordering customers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and you'll only know they have it if you're playing on Xbox Series X. Take a look at the blog details below, and our recent beta thoughts.
Activision drops sweet surprise for the Spyro community
Spyro is celebrating his birthday today, and his cake is a tad unconventional. Or perfectly themed for a dragon. Activision revealed a blog with a burn-away cake top, that showed a fresh bit of Spryo: A Realm Beyond art. It's pretty slick, and you can take a look at it below, along with other tidbits from the blog.

It's been a busy week for Nintendo! Yesterday's Legend of Zelda Direct lead into today's Nintendo Direct, a first for the company. They had a lot to show too, with Metroid Ravenous and Kirby and the World Beyond headlining a great Direct. There's a lot to get into, so we'll just dive into it below. If you missed the Zelda Direct, we got that link bookmarked for you as well.
Treadmill Tuesdays - Virtual Hunter VR

I think I'm in love with Nintendo's maximalist remakes
I think we all had the same initial reaction to the reveal of Star Fox this year: horror and disgust. Nintendo never really does realism outside of Pikmin; even Twilight Princess, the Zelda game touted as the “most realistic” is actually going for a dark, anime look similar to things like Berserk. Seeing the fuzzy, feathery, and slimy characters of Star Fox rendered in a realistic style was jarring, to say the least. Yet, slowly but surely, it grew on me.
Entropy early access preview
Entropy has the makings of a true landmark for horror RPGs, if the finished product follows through on the promise of the early access release. It’s a turn based game with PS1-esque polygonal graphics, placed in a medieval fantasy world amidst a looming apocalypse. Far from derivative, I found the early access version a culmination and refinement on its many influences, delivering what may end up being my favorite game in years.
