A 12-year-old boy has died in a road crash in County Mayo. Yesterday evening, Gardaí were called out to a level crossing in Kiltybo, near Ballyhaunis, after receiving reports of a collision between a car and a train. Upon arrival, they found the child inside the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been taken to Mayo University Hospital for a post-mortem.
