Suspect dead, victim hurt in shooting at Sturbridge hotel

STURBRIDGE, Mass. – A shooting suspect is dead, and a victim is recovering from a gunshot to the chest after a chaotic scene at a hotel in Sturbridge. Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said a 28-year-old female allegedly drove her car into the Sturbridge Plaza Hotel early Thursday morning in search of two people known to her. Early said she also fired shots into the hotel, hitting a bystander in the lobby.

Hi, I am knocking off some rust here since I have not bought any property in over 3 years. Forgive me if I am not up on all the current lingo and slightly out of touch with the market from an investment perspective. Worcester approves extending last call through July

WORCESTER, Mass. - Cities and towns are considering a temporary extension to last call following approval from the governor this week. The move allows bars to serve alcohol until 3 a.m. and allows for public consumption in designated areas through July to accommodate major summer events like the World Cup. Worcester is hosting several public watch parties, and on Thursday, the city’s License Commission voted in favor of allowing the extension.
