Designed in response to consumer demand for longer-lasting fragrance, Sol de Janeiro’s latest creation— Intense Perfume Mists—deliver up to 10 hours of scent through a higher concentration of fragrance oils. Each scent also features a new signature solar amber accord, inspired by “the warmth of Brazil’s golden hour.” The new format also builds on Sol de Janeiro’s signature “fragrance-layering ritual,” according to the Happi International Top 30 Company.

The Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) has opened the Eighth Annual Innovation Awards. The winners of the awards will be recognized at HCPA’s Annual Meeting on Dec. 6-9 at the Marriott Harbor Beach in  Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The five category winners are determined by the Board of HCPA’s Sustainability & Product Stewardship Council (SPSC). While onsite at the meeting, conference attendees will vote to select the Association Award winner from among the five category winners.

The Natural and Biobased Cosmetic Ingredients Conference will take place at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on April 19-20, 2027. This year’s conference will focus on the convergence of biotechnology, green chemistry and digital innovation, illustrating their collective role in shaping a more competitive, sustainable and scientifically rigorous future for the cosmetic industry. The two-day agenda will be “single-track”, so participants are exposed to adjacent topics and new ideas.
