1 Introduction Lung cancer, a heterogeneous malignancy originating from bronchial mucosal epithelium or glandular tissues, constitutes a major global public health challenge, with persistently elevated incidence and mortality rates (1). Current epidemiological evidence demonstrates that over 60% of cases are diagnosed at advanced stages (III/IV), and lung cancer is often diagnosed at advanced stages when treatment options are limited (2, 3).
