Freelance reporter.

Yes. It's how I learned.

Tie: Clark Kent and Peter Parker. (But they both skirt ethical rules, don't they?)

A commitment to truth and justice.

Facebook.

Stephen Colbert.

Why did you become a journalist?

In junior high school, writing for the student newspaper.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes, I did. Reporter, features editor, editorial page editor.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Radio interviews with some of the most interesting people in Chicago and the nation.
