PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown field hockey team (1-3, 0-1) opened Ivy League play with a 3-1 loss to No. 18 Yale (5-0, 1-0) on Saturday afternoon at Goldberger Family Field. The Bulldogs out-shot the Bears 4-1 in the opening quarter, two of Yale's shots were stopped by Ellie Parker. Brown's lone first quarter shot came from Lizzie Loftus. The Bears opened the scoring 57 seconds into the second quarter.
