WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — For years, Wichita's Double-A baseball team has been known as the Wind Surge, but now fans can rally around a new name, and it's a familiar identity. The team is swapping its name, becoming one of its alternate identities: Turbo Tubs. "We can finally lean into some of the history of Wichita and all in all I think it's just going to show people that we've been listening and we're giving you exactly what you want," Wichita Wind Surge general manager Matt Hamilton said.
