A Fresh Meadows man has been indicted on second-degree manslaughter and other charges for the three-vehicle crash that killed a 71-year-old pedestrian on May 25. Dawood Faisal, 22, also was charged with second- and third-degree assault, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, and single counts of reckless driving, second-degree menacing, failing to stop at a steady red signal, driving in excess of the maximum speed limit and operating a vehicle at unreasonable speed.
