Thu, June 25, 2026 at 6:03 PM Updated Thu, June 25, 2026 at 6:14 PM SANDY, Utah (KUTV) — A young man was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at Dimple Dell Regional Park. The Sandy City Fire Department responded around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. “The crews that went down into the gully were able to get a quick stop on it,” said Sandy Fire Department Captain Clint Stokes. “They limited the size to about 1.5 acres.” No homes or structures were threatened.
