Your Wednesday morning will start off pleasant with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. By lunchtime, temperatures will quickly climb into the upper 80s before reaching the lower 90s during the afternoon. Wednesday evening will stay warm, with temperatures only slowly falling through the 80s after sunset. The only difference is that it will start to feel a little more muggy across the area.

Tuesday is shaping up to be another beautiful midsummer day across much of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. We will start the morning with comfortable temperatures with readings in the upper 60s under mostly clear skies. As the day goes on we will expect plenty of sunshine with just a few fair-weather clouds drifting by. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s but the humidity will remain on the manageable side making it feel comfortable for early July.

The July 4th weekend is ending on a quiet note, at least in terms of our weather. Our skies have cleared and the humidity is a bit lower, and that means we will begin the new work-week with temperatures closer to the seasonal normals of 88 and 67. We'll see sunny, mild weather to begin the week with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. By mid-week, higher temperatures and more humidity will return.
