The sophomore attacker finished the opening half with four straight goals – the first three in the personal run coming in just a span of 57 seconds – as the Explorers went into the break with an 8-2 lead over Ridley. "It's crazy," Smith said.

WEST GOSHEN – Storms rolling into the area halted play in Saturday night’s PIAA-2A girls lacrosse quarterfinal matchup between Twin Valley and Gwynedd Mercy late in the first quarter. And when the contest picked back, a constant rain continued falling through the rest of the opening half. The wet conditions, however, did little to slow the Raiders’ Ellie Kaplan.
