Two Holbrook town employees who were charged with felony assault in connection with attacking a homeless man may have been seeking revenge and targeted the wrong man, according to police reports. Jesse Baxter, 32, and his brother, Jake Baxter, 28, both employees for the town’s Department of Public Works, were arrested June 22 and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 and witness intimidation.
