Thousands of Doylestown area residents flooded the borough Saturday afternoon for the latest “No Kings” protest against the Trump administration. Local protesters joined millions of others around the globe in worldwide opposition to the Trump administration. The list of grievances range from ICE brutality, racial profiling and violence, mass deportations, extrajudicial killings of U.S. citizens, the war on Iran, inflation, the Epstein Files cover up, and more.

Doylestown Action League’s organized a protest Saturday after the Trump Administration started off 2026 with a coup in Venezuela by kidnapping President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Celia Flores, and then by killing a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis. About 200 people came out, despite the cold, rainy weather. An ICE agent fatally shot Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, during an immigration sweep. The Trump administration tried to paint her as a domestic terrorist. She was not.

The Doylestown Action League organized a rally and community day of action in front of the Courthouse in Doylestown on April 19. The event, part of a nationwide campaign that saw hundreds of rallies across the country, attracted about 500 peaceful protesters. Larissa ‘Lolly’ Hopwood and Kevin E Leven facilitated the day’s event. Attendees were able to speak about their varied personal experiences and worries under the current Trump administration.
