It was a scene with which we’re all familiar. Inning after inning, runners stranded in scoring position. Opportunities wasted. So many chances and nothing to show for it. This time, though, it wasn’t the Blue Jays whose hitters couldn’t deliver in the clutch. They were the ones taking advantage of opponents’ frustrations, opening a six-game road trip with a 6-1 win over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Tuesday night.
