PPARγ: a transfactor for Th-cell subsets
Abstract Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) is a ligand-activated nuclear transcription factor that governs helper T cell (Th) immunometabolism and functional differentiation by regulating gene transcription, cellular metabolism, and cytokine microenvironment. In Th1 cells, PPARγ primarily regulates interferon-γ (IFN-γ) secretion. Within Th2 cells, it influences GATA-binding protein 3 (GATA3) expression and provides metabolic support for normal cellular functions.
P2X7R of synovial fibroblasts is a potential therapeutic target associated with refractory rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by persistent synovitis. Synovial fibroblasts (SF) are the predominant cellular components in the inflamed synovium. Recent studies have shown increased expression of P2X7 receptor (P2X7R) in RA SF.

Economic evaluation of telemedicine-based integrated management of atrial fibrillation in rural China: a modeling analysis
Abstract Atrial fibrillation (AF) imposes a substantial disease and economic burden worldwide, particularly in rural areas with limited access to integrated care. The MIRACLE-AF trial demonstrated significant reductions in cardiovascular mortality, stroke, and heart failure or acute coronary syndrome hospitalizations with telemedicine-based, village doctor-led integrated management versus usual care.
Associations of triglyceride-glucose-related indices and cardiovascular health with retinal arteriosclerosis: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Objective: Retinal arteriosclerosis (RA) is a visible marker of early microvascular injury largely driven by cardiovascular risk factors. Insulin resistance, represented by the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) related indices, may serve as a key mediator linking cardiovascular health (CVH) to RA.

Identifying Key Cells for Fibrosis by Systematically Calling Cell Type-Phenotype Associations across Massive Heterogenous Datasets
Abstract Fibrotic diseases pose a significant burden on health care, yet the key pathogenic fibroblasts involved remain unclear. We developed the fibrotic disease fibroblast atlas (FDFA), which comprises 394 single-cell and 38 spatial transcriptomic samples from 11 common fibrotic diseases. To perform a cell-type phenotype association study in large-scale heterogeneous datasets, we developed the single-cell phenotype association research kit for large-scale dataset exploration (SPARKLE).
A Novel Model of Integrated Care of Older Patients With Atrial Fibrillation in Rural China:
Introduction Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most commonly encountered cardiac arrhythmia in clinical practice.
Comparison of safety and efficacy between Nirmatrelvir-ritonavir and molnupiravir in the treatment of COVID-19 infection in patients with advanced kidney disease: a retrospective observational study - eClinicalMedicine
Summary Nirmatrelvir-ritonavir is used in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) with normal or mild renal impairment (eGFR ≥30 ml/min per 1.73 m2). There is limited data regarding its use in advanced kidney disease (eGFR <30 ml/min per 1.73 m2). We performed a retrospective territory-wide observational study evaluating the safety and efficacy of nirmatrelvir-ritonavir when compared with molnupiravir in the treatment of patients with COVID-19 with advanced kidney disease.

Synthesis, Structures, and Properties of Heptabenzo[7]circulene and Octabenzo[8]circulene
This study puts forth two new members of fully ortho-benzannulated [n]circulenes, heptabenzo[7]circulene and octabenzo[8]circulene, which are new negatively curved nanographenes and also represent unprecedented structures of septuple [4]helicene and octuple [4]helicene, respectively. The successful synthesis of them through Scholl reaction in good to excellent yields takes advantage of the reactivity of naphthalene.
Electrically assisted 3D printing of nacre-inspired structures with self-sensing capability
Abstract Lightweight and strong structural materials attract much attention due to their strategic applications in sports, transportation, aerospace, and biomedical industries. Nacre exhibits high strength and toughness from the brick-and-mortar–like structure. Here, we present a route to build nacre-inspired hierarchical structures with complex three-dimensional (3D) shapes by electrically assisted 3D printing.

Connecting two phenazines with a four-membered ring: the synthesis, properties and applications of cyclobuta[1,2-b:3,4-b′]diphenazines
Herein we report cyclobuta[1,2-b:3,4-b?]diphenazine (CBDP), a new ?-electron molecular scaffold containing two phenazine moieties connected by a four-membered ring. With properly positioned silylethynyl substituting groups, CBDP offers a chromophore with a large molar extinction coefficient, a luminophore with a good quantum yield, and an n-type organic semiconductor with a field effect mobility as high as 0.30 cm V s .

TFDP3 Regulates Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition in Breast Cancer
Breast cancer remains a lethal disease to women due to lymph node metastasis, the tumor microenvironment, secondary resistance and other unknown factors. Several important transcription factors involved in this disease, such as PTEN, p53 and beta-catenin, have been identified and researched in-depth as candidates for targeted therapy in breast cancer. TFDP3 is a new, promising candidate for transcriptional regulation in breast cancer, although it was first identified in hepatocellular carcinoma.
