ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) – Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed a law Wednesday making it illegal to access, download, or use AI-powered “nudification” technology — software that digitally strips clothing from images or videos of real people. Violators could face damages and civil penalties enforced by the state’s attorney general. The bill passed the House 132-1 and cleared the Senate 65-0, with near-unanimous bipartisan support.
