Tim Walz signed a law Wednesday making it illegal to access, download, or use AI-powered “nudification” technology — software that digitally strips clothing from images or videos of real people. Violators could face damages and civil penalties enforced by the state’s attorney general. The bill passed the House 132-1 and cleared the Senate 65-0, with near-unanimous bipartisan support.

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY, Iowa (KTTC) – The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office released a statement Tuesday a body was recovered from the Upper Iowa River on Monday. Authorities report the body has been identified as Don Allen Watson, of Rochester, who had been missing since April 16. Allamakee County said authorities located a vehicle that belonged to Watson just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday. A search of the area and Upper Iowa River did not lead to anything.
