The two stations share studios in Rochester on Bandel Road Northwest along US 52, and also maintain an advertising sales office on Lakeview Drive in Clear Lake, Iowa, that serves Mason City.[3] KTTC's transmitter is located south of Ostrander, Minnesota, near the Fillmore–Mower county line. OLYMPIA, Mo. (KY3/Gray News) - Luck may be what helped a Cedar County man survive an accident in Missouri when a bulldozer partially rolled over him. According to the Olympia Rural Fire Department, it happened around noon on Aug. 29. The 76-year-old man was driving up an embankment when the seat broke free from its mount. The seat then hit the fuel cell, which also broke free, leading him to fall on the ground behind the bulldozer.
Pine Island man dies in Wabasha County motorcycle crash
WABASHA COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC) – A Pine Island man has died after being involved in a vehicle crash in Wabasha County late Saturday afternoon, according to Minnesota State Patrol. Just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday, a 2025 Ram Promaster was driving east on Highway 60, while a 1991 Harley FXST was driving west. The two vehicles collided. It is unclear the nature of the collision. The Harley rider, a 69-year-old man from Pine Island died as a result of the crash. His identity will be released at a later time.
Southeast Minnesota woman celebrates 100th birthday
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – A lot has changed since September 1926. But one southeast Minnesota woman has seen it all. Jane Wegman celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday. Her family invited KTTC to join the celebration at Godfather’s Pizza in Rochester. “I’m so overjoyed to see all these people, all my family,” said Wegman. Wegman worked as a nurse at Mayo Clinic for more than 50 years. She then volunteered in the emergency room until she was 90 years old.
Two people dead after collision in Mitchell County
OSAGE, Iowa. (KTTC) – Two people have died after a head-on collision in Osage late Friday afternoon, according to Iowa State Patrol. Around 4:00 p.m. Friday, Stephnie Lyons, 56, of Rochester, MN was headed south on Kirkwood Avenue near 440th Street, while a Charles Yoders Jr., 71, of Staceyville, IA was headed north on the same street. The two collided and both Lyons and Yoders died. A 71-year-old woman was in the car with Yoders Jr. at the time.

(KPTV/Gray News) - An Oregon man was sentenced to six years in prison for beating his wife with a Bible and threatening her with guns, according to the Marion County District Attorney’s Office on Friday. According to the DA’s office, on the night of May 10, 2025, 42-year-old Jared Edward Dean Tresham’s wife and two children were asleep in their house.
Police officer accused of planting drugs, coercing another victim into having sex, authorities say
OAKDALE, La. (KPLC/Gray News) - A police officer in Louisiana is accused of attempting to plant drugs and trying to coerce a victim into having sex. Jalen Melbert, 33, of Oakdale, was arrested Monday on charges of abuse of office and malfeasance in office. According to detectives, Melbert attempted to use his position as an officer to influence a victim to engage in sexual activity with him.
