Pleasanton Voters Say NO to “NO for Now”

The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce endorsed a "NO for now" position on the half percent, ten-year sales tax on this November’s ballot, Measure PP. In their opposition statement published Oct. 2, 2024 the chamber encourages tapping into the Section 115 Trust and Retiree Medical Trust Fund for two years to balance the City of Pleasanton's structural budget deficit. To do so goes against all expert actuarial advice previously presented to the Pleasanton City Council.

I helped with Video Camera Work at the Bay Area Music Awards (BAMMIES) and it was a great night as a young aspiring journalist!

People are informing others through Social Media much like word of mouth did back in the day.

What's your favorite social network?

I love Facebook because it's given me the opportunity to connect with old friends but also new friends in the Arts. Connection is important!
