What was your first job as a journalist?
While in college, I worked a freelance job at an entertainment/ gossip website, writing 5 articles a day for 1$/piece. I absolutely loved it.

No
How is social media changing news?
You get to know what's going on almost instantly, which is great and accessible.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
It might be cliche but Carrie Bradshaw. She was living the life, making an impossibly high wage to support her fabulous life in New York.

What's your favorite social network?
As old as that makes me sound (and I'm not old), Facebook. It's so easy to stay up to date as everything is straight forward.

Taylor Swift, any of the Harry Potter actors
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I am always up to date with the news and I wanted to be a part of this fast-pacing environment.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
There was no high school newspaper at my high school, unfortunately. I did write stories that I never shared, though.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just stick with it, accept any type of writing gig that you can find, write as much as you can, keep yourself informed, and keep hoping.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I ever got was the article I never got a chance to write - a thorough guide to the cars used in Netflix's Wednesday.
What's your favorite drink?
Coffee
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
If I'm not working, I usually keep myself updated with what's going on in the world on my phone or reading.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
People Magazine is my all-time favorite publication
