Most of the things I wrote while a foreign correspondent, and one feature I wrote about Peter O Toole after a nine hour interview with him..
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read. Read everything. The classics, history economics, geography, the new york times....stay informed, and stay open minded

anytime except between 1 and 4 am. I like to sleep sometimes
