Abstract Mountainous transport corridors are increasingly exposed to interacting natural hazards that intensify infrastructure, socio-economic, and land-use risks. However, most susceptibility assessments for high-mountain corridors still focus on single hazards or rely heavily on expert-based weighting, which can introduce subjectivity into spatial decision-making.

Abstract To investigate the influence of calcareous fine contents (FC) on the dynamic behavior of calcareous sand, a series of undrained cyclic triaxial tests was performed on calcareous sand-fine mixtures with relative densities (Dr) of 40% and 80%, incorporating FC values of 0%, 10%, 40%, 70%, and 100%.

Abstract The detection of subsurface defects has increasingly benefited from the integration of machine learning techniques, particularly in data-driven inspection methods. While convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have shown promising capabilities, their performance in identifying fine-scale defects remains suboptimal.
