Blender 5.2 LTS introduces a game-changing update for 2D artists: the Delaunay Fill Algorithm. In this in-depth tutorial, I explore why this shift from pixel-based flood fill to a geometric solver is a “huge deal” for Grease Pencil users. Mumu Mundo writes: The new engine provides faster, more accurate fills that are zoom-independent, finally solving the frustration of “unable to fill” errors on complex geometry.

My 2D mouth and eyes rigging tutorials are getting old, so I decided to update the material and combine it into a step-by-step course that creates a full 2D face rig.complete with animated eyebrows and a nose. We’ll start by modeling the face and adding materials, then jump into shape keys – creating, adjusting, and mirroring them. For the mouth and eyes, we’ll build procedural textures using shading nodes for the teeth, tongue, iris, pupil, and reflections.
