Investigation of reactivity of the Zika envelope aptamer After sequencing, 50 aptamers were obtained by SELEX. The secondary structure of the Zika envelope aptamer was predicted by mFold at 25 °C with a buffer composition of 140 mM Na+ ions and 5 mM Mg2+ ions. Based on the predicted dG values, two aptamers were selected. and binding was determined using 8% native-TBE PAGE binding test. Figure 2a–c and Additional file 1: Fig.
