What was your first job as a journalist?
My first journalism job was at a marketing trade publication called Strategy Magazine.
How is social media changing news?
The best way to pitch me is via email. If I'm interested, I will definitely follow-up. I often try to reply even if I'm not interested.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Whatever topic I'm covering, my job is to inform accurately and factually. A journalist's job comes with great responsibility.
What's your favorite social network?
I love photography so I gravitate mostly to Instagram.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Early morning is the best time to get my attention!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
When I'm not tethered to my computer, you can find me running around town with my two kids.

In those rare moments of downtime, you can find me reading The Atlantic, Vanity Fair and The Everymom.
